My buddy Pete Giovine is the first guest on The GK Show. Pete is a super funny comedian as well as former host of Beacher’s Madhouse in New York City, Las Vegas, and Hollywood. Not only is he one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet he has some of the best stories as well. On this episode we discuss how he was able to get a job when he moved to NYC because his criminal court judge father called in a favor to a connected friend in the city. Total Italian stereotype!
He waited tables for people like Robert DeNiro while at the same time starting out in stand up comedy as well as forming a sketch group that practiced on Saturday Night Live’s stage. When one of the members of Next Monday left their script for a sketch on set the sketch ended up on SNL the next week. Pete also talks about which Hollywood celebs were a bit needy, smoking golden wrapped joints with Miley Cyrus, Bill Burr crediting Beacher’s Madhouse for his iconic rant in Philadelphia which sprung him to stardom, and dating Stormy Daniels while now President Donald Trump infamously paid her for sex.

I'm finally back on land and able to record! I talk about a dickhead comic I worked with who did his best to sabotage my set, Malia Obama wearing a one piece bathing suit and drinking wine with her friends, my wife and I messing with each other in different ways, Jussie Smollett and his hate crime hoax, Alaska Airlines customer service coming through and more. I made it to Calgary (finally) and had my first show. I give an update on my Alaska Airlines situation and talk about how hard it must be to listen to complaints all day as a job. Then I get into the "controversy" online about Bryan Cranston playing a disabled person in the new movie "The Upside" with Kevin Hart and respond to Trevor Noah's monologue about the "problem." Why do I put everything in quotes? Finally, I have a ton of fun doing my favorite new, and recurring, segment Yelp Reviews! They're Grrrrrreeeeat!

Happy New Year everyone! Wanted to get a pod out right away and get into a nice rhythm of bringing content as often as possible. On this episode I remember my Grandma Sylvia Piltz who passed away one year ago yesterday and the book "Return to Life" that leads into my beliefs in past lives and other realms. I address my feelings on Louis CK's leaked audio of a set he did at Governor's Comedy Club in New York and the reactions to it. Before I get into that I compare this new year's eve to my past ones and how no one in the world has ever been honest about their bowel movements when they see signs posted at public pools asking them to refrain from getting in the water if they've had diarrhea within the last two weeks.

This episode I talk about some A-hoooooles at my last show at Pechanga Casino last weekend and how I verbally beat them into submission. I dwell on my fascination with the people on HGTV's "Caribbean Life" who are excited to do nothing and die. I also dive back in to my feelings, and why I have them, about Kevin Hart and the Oscars. My birthday is today and I have two auditions so I may show up in party mode. Of course I have to talk about my daughter a little and I also discuss how I lost weight after getting pudgy. I'm very happy to finally get this new podcast up and running. This episode is a quick teaser of what's to come. Going forward I will have on all sorts of interesting guests from comedians, actors, authors, producers, and basically anyone I find interesting. Every show will be different; sometimes I'll be covering topics of the day, sometimes I'll have guests, sometimes I'll vent or talk about what happened at my recent shows (brawl, drunk lady fell down face down ass up in the middle of my set, etc), and it will always be fun and goofy.
